DARA SUTIN
Dara Sutin is a Cordon Bleu trained Chef, Food Stylist, Recipe Developer & Culinary Consultant based in both Toronto, Canada and London, U.K.
Originally from Toronto, Canada, Dara went on to study at McGill University and work in various jobs within the corporate food industry before deciding to pursue her dream and passion of cooking. She trained at the renowned Cordon Bleu School in London, completing the Grand Diplome program in Cuisine and Patisserie. She went on to work as a Pastry Chef at London’s Ottolenghi before shifting her career into recipe development and food styling.
Dara’s passion for food and travel have allowed her to gain invaluable experience in culinary consulting, recipe development, and also as a personal chef for private clients. She has a strong desire and passion to share her knowledge about food and cooking. Her insights from cooking professionally have helped her bring food to life, by creating delicious and easy recipes for cookbooks, magazines and television. Her creations have been featured in best-selling cookbooks around the world, high profile editorial publications and branded content.
Dara is also the founder of Cooking From Home, a charitable e-cookbook comprised of 35+ recipes from Chefs across Canada. To date, the cookbook has raised over $18k in support of Not9to5, a non-profit organization which seeks to educate and raise awareness about mental health in the food and hospitality industry.
